Relation to curriculum Compulsory module for 3rd semester students. This laboratory course reinforces theoretical concepts from Botany of Cryptogamae
through hands-on experience in observation, specimen preparation, and classification of algae, fungi, lichens, bryophytes, and pteridophytes.
It supports CPL-6 and CPL-7 by developing practical laboratory skills, scientific inquiry, and documentation abilities.
In line with ASIIN standards, the course emphasizes experiential learning, accuracy, and ecological awareness.

Prerequisites
Module objectives / Intended Learning Outcomes ✔ Students are able to identify characteristics, habitat, classification, reproduction, and benefits of Algae, Fungi, Lichen, Bryophyta, and Pteridophyta.
✔ Students are able to compile and present project reports related to Cryptogamae organisms.
Content This course provides hands-on experience in observing and identifying Cryptogamae organisms (algae, fungi, lichens, mosses, and ferns).
Students conduct fieldwork, collect samples, and analyze morphological characteristics. The course emphasizes scientific skills such as
identification, report writing, and preparation of scientific articles.Main topics:

➢ Ferns (Pteridophyta)
