| Relation to curriculum | Compulsory module for 3rd semester students. This course focuses on the principles, methods, and tools of assessment and evaluation in biology education. It supports CPL-8 and CPL-5 by enabling students to design valid, reliable, and fair evaluation instruments across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. In line with ASIIN standards, the course emphasizes outcome-based education and competence-oriented assessment, preparing students to apply diverse evaluation strategies to improve learning quality and instructional effectiveness. |

| Content | This course discusses concepts and principles of educational evaluation, including measurement, assessment, and evaluation frameworks, Bloom’s Taxonomy, development of test and non-test instruments, test analysis, reliability, and reporting of results.Main topics: ➢ Concepts of measurement, assessment, and evaluation |
