Relation to curriculum Compulsory module for 3rd semester students. This course explores the use of educational technology in biology teaching and learning.
It supports CPL-6 and CPL-8 by enabling students to design, utilize, and evaluate instructional media and digital tools that enhance
learning outcomes. In line with ASIIN standards, the course emphasizes technological proficiency and pedagogical innovation, preparing
future educators to integrate digital tools effectively into student-centered learning environments.
Teaching methods Demonstration, inquiry approach, blended learning, group discussion, Q&A, team-based project
Workload 2 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:

✔ 100 minutes lecture and discussion per week
✔ 120 minutes structured tasks per week
✔ 120 minutes independent learning per week

Credit points 2 SKS = 3.34 ECTS (90 hours)

Module objectives / Intended Learning Outcomes ✔ Students are able to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) tools for educational purposes, including digital communication and collaboration platforms.
✔ Students are able to use educational software such as presentation tools, audio and video editing applications, spreadsheets, and statistical analysis tools effectively.
Content This course explores information and communication technology (ICT) and its applications in biology education. Students learn to
identify, analyze, and utilize digital tools to support teaching and learning processes, including internet-based resources and
multimedia applications.Main topics:

➢ Audio editing applications
➢ Video authoring tools
