Relation to curriculum Compulsory modules for 1st semester students. This course introduces core concepts, historical development, and foundational disciplines of education. It supports CPL-3 and CPL-4 by fostering understanding of philosophical, sociological, and psychological aspects of education, enabling students to interpret and critique formal education systems.
Teaching methods Lecture, group discussion, problem-based learning
Workload 2 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:
✔ 100 minutes lecture and discussion per week
✔ 120 minutes structured tasks per week
✔ 120 minutes independent learning per week
Credit points 2 SKS = 3.34 ECTS (90 hours)
