Relation to curriculum Elective module focusing on Mycology. This course provides students with comprehensive knowledge of fungal biology, diversity, ecology, and their applications, including mushroom cultivation and environmental roles.
Teaching methods IInquiry approach, PBL, design/create and conduct a survey, presentation, create a media for mushroom cultivation, project report
Workload 2 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:
✔ 100 minutes lecture and discussion per week
✔ 120 minutes structured tasks per week
✔ 120 minutes independent learning per week
Credit points 2 SKS = 3.34 ECTS (90 hours)
Prerequisites
Module objectives ✔ Analyze fungal structure, ultrastructure, diversity, metabolism, reproduction, ecology, and roles for humans and environment
✔ Design and conduct surveys on fungal presence and mushroom cultivation
✔ Design and implement mushroom cultivation practices and present the results
