Relation to curriculum Compulsory module for General Biology Laboratory. This course complements theoretical biology with hands-on experience, aligned with ASIIN practical relevance standards. It develops observation, hypothesis testing, and laboratory safety skills supporting CPL-5 and CPL-6.
Teaching methods Hands-on laboratory, quiz, observation
Workload 1 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:
✔ 170 minutes structured tasks per week
Credit points 1 SKS = 1.6 ECTS (45 hours)
Prerequisites
Module objectives ✔ Conduct microscopic observations of cells, tissues, and organs according to lab procedures
✔ Explain biological processes such as transport, photosynthesis, and biodiversity through practicum
✔ Compile systematic laboratory reports and demonstrate environmental awareness
Content This laboratory course develops practical skills in basic biological concepts and techniques.
