Relation to curriculum Compulsory laboratory module supporting Animal Structure. This course provides hands-on investigation of animal tissues and organ systems through dissection, staining, and microscopic analysis. It supports CPL-6 and CPL-7 and emphasizes observational precision, comparative analysis, and laboratory safety (MR1; SR3).
Teaching methods Hands-on (laboratory), observation
Workload 1 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:
✔ 170 minutes structured tasks per week
Credit points 1 SKS = 1.6 ECTS (45 hours)
Prerequisites
Module objectives ✔ Identify and analyze animal structures using specimens and digital data (MR2)
✔ Apply laboratory safety procedures and explain structure-function relationships based on observations (MR1; SR2)
Content This course focuses on practical exploration of animal structure through laboratory activities (MR1).
