Relation to curriculum Compulsory module for 4th semester students. This course provides an overview of the teaching profession, focusing on ethical,
legal, and professional responsibilities of educators. It supports CPL-4 and CPL-8 by strengthening students’ awareness of the
social role of teachers and their commitment to continuous professional development. The course prepares future biology educators
to act as facilitators of learning, moral agents, and community leaders with integrity and professionalism.
Teaching methods Lecture, group discussion, problem-based learning
Workload 2 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:

✔ 100 minutes lecture and discussion per week
✔ 120 minutes structured tasks per week
✔ 120 minutes independent learning per week
Credit points 2 SKS = 3.34 ECTS (90 hours)
Prerequisites –
Module objectives / Intended Learning Outcomes ✔ Students are able to understand the fundamental concepts of the teaching profession, including roles, responsibilities, ethics, and professional standards.
✔ Students are able to apply competencies of educators to enhance professional quality and performance.
✔ Students are able to communicate and demonstrate essential teaching skills to improve the quality of education.

➢ Teacher performance evaluation
