Relation to curriculum Compulsory module in Animal Structure. This course introduces students to the comparative structure and organization of animal tissues and organ systems across major animal phyla. It supports CPL-1 and CPL-6 and emphasizes integration of anatomical form and physiological function (MR1; SR1).
Teaching methods Lecture, small group discussion, discovery learning, problem-based learning
Workload 2 x 45 hours per semester, comprising:
✔ 100 minutes lecture and discussion per week
✔ 120 minutes structured tasks per week
✔ 120 minutes independent learning per week
Credit points 2 SKS = 3,34 ECTS (90 hours)
Prerequisites
Module objectives ✔ Understand theories, concepts, and principles of animal structure accurately (MR1)
✔ Design mind mapping of animal tissues and organ systems in poster form (MR2; SR2)
Content This course studies micro and macro anatomy of vertebrates, including tissues and organ systems (MR1).

➢ Integumentary System and Derivatives (MR1)
➢ Digestive, Respiratory, Circulatory, Reproductive Systems (MR2)
